What Happens in Vegas, maybe shouldn't!

My wife and I recently returned from a vacation stay in Las Vegas.

Maybe we are getting old and no longer "represent" the demographic that makes the city tick.

What we experienced was a lot of indifferent customer services, exceptionally poor communications around a variety of topics, broken, not working and over priced food, services and facilities.

We stayed at a top flight  hotel, paid top rates for everything and left feeling like we will probably never return.

Perhaps more poignant and more important was that  there seemed to be no remedy, no concern and no voice for our poor experiences.

The say what happens in Las Vegas, stays in Las Vegas, now, we know why!

Becoming Irrelevant

It seems to be happening, I am just fighting it!

Becoming irrelevant, that is.

I have a small business that seems to be getting smaller by the month. I have problems with vendor relations because I am small and "don't generate a lot of revenue for them".  So, when there are mistakes made, or problems to be solved, I hear how there isn't a lot of time to dedicate to my account, "because I am small".

I guess being small, makes your irrelevant. Perhaps some day support services organizations will realize they  have a bunch of "small revenue generators that make up their business.  It is no fun to discover you really don't matter in someone else's scheme of things.

Everyone should matter, big or small. Or is that just a religious philosophy?
